1. Using Oh! Ciao

By using Oh! Ciao you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Oh! Ciao is run by an individual, not a company, and is offered free of charge. You can reach us at info@ohciao.com.

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it.

2. What you post

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you give us permission to store it and show it to other people using Oh! Ciao. That permission lasts as long as the post is on the service.

Only post what you have the right to post.

3. Rules

Please do not:

• post personal information about anyone — addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, photographs of people who have not agreed, or anything that identifies a private individual
• harass, threaten, or abuse anyone, or attack people for who they are
• post anything unlawful, or anything that encourages harm
• post sexual content, or content that is not suitable for a public neighbourhood board
• post advertising, spam, or repetitive promotional messages
• pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent where you are
• post automatically, in bulk, or through scripts
• report posts you have no genuine concern about
• interfere with the service or try to get around its limits

4. Locations are approximate

Every post is tied to an approximate location, rounded to about 100 metres, and distances are shown coarsely on purpose. Distances may also be wrong if your device reports a poor location. Do not treat any distance on Oh! Ciao as exact.

5. Moderation

Oh! Ciao is moderated mostly by the people using it.

• A post reported by several people is hidden automatically.
• Whoever started a thread can hide replies in it. A hidden reply is shown as hidden, not erased, so the fact that it was hidden stays visible.
• You can delete your own posts and replies at any time.
• We may hide or remove anything, at any time, without notice. We are not obliged to review everything that is posted.

If something needs attention and reporting it in the app is not enough, write to info@ohciao.com.

6. No warranty

Oh! Ciao is provided as it is, with no promises. It is a personal project. It may be slow, may be unavailable, may lose data, and may be discontinued without notice. Posts may disappear.

We do not check whether anything posted here is true, and we are not responsible for what other people write.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Oh! Ciao, from anything posted on it, or from it being unavailable.

8. Ending access

We may stop you from using Oh! Ciao if you break these rules. You can stop using it at any time.

9. Changes

These terms may change. The new version will appear on this page with a new date at the top. Continuing to use Oh! Ciao means you accept the change.

10. Language

These terms are written in English. If a translation is provided and the two versions differ, the English version applies.
